I am a Motivational/Education Speaker and a unique comedian to break down the misconceptions that people have about disabilities and other differences through an innovative and hysterical form of education.  I need the right assistants to help me with things I need to do. I have not done very much Motivational Speaking because I have been changing my focus to stand-up comedy. 

I have Cerebral palsy this effects my muscles and speech but this does not get in the way of what I want to do. With a BS in Business Management I run my two apartment houses.  I am also trying to take the next step in stand-up comedy which is performing at colleges and universities. Unfortunately, I can not drive so this will be one of the things you would be doing. Some of the other things I need help with are getting ready for the day, driving, eating, etc. This unique job opportunity involves many different tasks. This is why it is so hard to find good helpers. You would be a personal assistant for me so that I can keep living and working independently. I already have a great assistant that works and volunteers but she can not work seven days a week. Also she can’t be away from her farm for more then 5 hours at a time.  So, most of the time she can’t drive me to my shows. I like to have three or four helpers because some people only help me with outside work but others only drive me. And others only want to help me with getting ready for the day, driving, eating, etc.

Requirements for this job are:

1. People skills!!!

2. Flexible schedule.

3. Current/valid driver's license. 

4. Some computer skills.

5. Some typing/writing ability.

Everyone that has these five qualities are encouraged to apply. I am only looking for part-time people right now and volunteers.  I think this job would be a great second job for someone or a college student.  This unique job will start as soon as the right person comes along.  The job is in Turner Maine. Base pay is $9 per hour.  I know that $9 is not very good so I sometime I would like to give my assistant additional incentives for helping to schedule, set up, and transport me to my stand-up performances.
